Hinkey Haines is the only man who holds the distinction of being an NFL World Champion and also a World Series Champion as well! Seen here for the 1922 Yankees in full uniform, he would be part of the first Yankees team to win the World Series in the next year. A better football player than baseball, he was the star of the New York Giants when they would win the NFL Championship in 1927. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back, this is one of his better batting photos that presents well with a chunk missing on the upper left corner.
