Beautiful large photograph of the 1943 Cuban League champions "Deportivo Matanzas" in full uniform. The manager of this club was Pipo De La Noval and they had some real talent with Sandy Consuegra, Rogelio Martinez, Angel Gonzalez and others. A beautiful image that is a high quality example with some light creasing and handling wear. Originally larger, this was trimmed a bit to fit into a newspaper archive or frame but it still presents well.
