1954 Milwaukee Braves team photograph in uniform and posing at the ballpark. Included in the mass are two of the biggest sluggers in the game, young Ed Mathews and a rookie named Hank Aaron wearing jersey number 5! The inclusion of Aaron is quite a find as images from his rookie year are very tough. Seen here fifth from the right on the top row, this is one of the only examples of this team we have seen and the image is a nearly perfect example. ANYTHING related to Aaron from his rookie year is a hot commodity and this is a killer example.
