Large 1931 studio photograph from the most famous early monster film of all time 'Frankenstein" showing actor Boris Karloff in full costume for his iconic role. While images of this film are sought after, they are also extremely rare considering how popular the film was and despite being a restrike from just after WWII, this is one of the oldest and most exceptional specimens of this photograph we have seen! The condition is pretty nice with some light creasing to the corners and edges, but this one is off the original negative which is nice. By far, one of the finest specimens from this film we have ever seen!
