1966 Photograph of Chairman Mao Tse-Tung during a rally in which he demanded total allegiance, receiving a gift of a red arm band from a supporter. Appropriately titled, "The Man Behind the Thoughts" Mao is one of the most controversial leaders of all time responsible for the deaths of millions of his own countrymen yet he has a sort of cult following making his images scarce and always very desirable! This is a rarity as it is off the original negative and issued by the Associated Press with some alter stamps from when it was in a photo archive.
