Touching 1935 photograph of the funeral of gangster Dutch Schultz as grave-diggers fill it in with dirt. Despite being one of the most infamous characters of his era, nobody showed up at his funeral. Whether they were scared to be seen, or just ultimately did not care, the lone person among the flowers is a newspaper reporter who watches as dirt covers the body of the man who once was one of the top criminal figures in America. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well.
