Stunning and breathtaking image of the massive Hindenburg shortly after landing in Lakehurst, New Jersey, fresh off of smashing the trans-Atlantic flight record time. One of the most massive airships ever built, the sheer size of the Hindenburg left people gasping for air and struggling to find the words to describe its power and beauty. One year later it would crash and burn before the eyes of the World at this very location! Photo was issued by the International News and stamped on the back, condition is nice overall with a few light creases. A interesting touch is the large swastikas of the Nazi regime on the tail!
