Large 1942 action photograph of US Navy pitcher Bob Feller in uniform and showing off his form. While Feller would only play baseball during the war for a short period of time (during his training) he was famous for being one of the earliest men to sign up after Pearl Harbor and the Navy used every opportunity to capture images of him to boost moral and enlistment numbers. Despite this, most were lost or destroyed and only a handful of images of Feller pitching during WWII are known in the hobby. Stamped on the back by the military and presenting great with some light handling wear and a few paper scrapes to the left and a small rip on the lower right border.
