Lot Description  

1933 Photograph of the hitting star of the New York Giants, Lefty O'Doul as he reaches for a high one at the Polo Grounds. One of the top hitters in the game, he was a major reason why the Giants would win the NL pennant and the World Series this year! Issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a paper caption and also a small newspaper article as well. The photo presents well with some artistic enhancements from publication.
