1933 Interesting photograph of New York Giants Hall of Famer Carl Hubbell as he presents a god-like figure at the Polo Grounds, striking a pose from on top of the dugout. A precarious position for your top player that put his safety into question, the result is an awesome piece of photography. A slightly different angle of this photograph was used to make a Hubbell baseball card (Swell Thrills) but this is as good as any photo of it's kind we have seen. Issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a crease on the upper left corner.
