Large c. 1928 batting photograph of young teenage phenom Mel Ott from the New York Giants as he shows off his batting form for the camera. When this photograph was taken he was in the middle of his first decent season in the big leagues, but would still only blast 18 homers on his way to 511 for his career. The image quality is outstanding and with exception of a few spots of wear, the photo is quite nice. From Mel Ott's estate, the is a quality image from early in his career!
