Beautiful 1910 silver gelatin photograph of the greatest hitter in the National League for the season, Sherry Magee of the Philadelphia Phillies bending over to field a ball at the ballpark. He finished the year with a .331 average and 123 rbi both of which led the league and he just missed out on the Triple Crown by 4 home runs! Stamped on the back by the Pictorial Press and with crystal clarity, the image presents well with a small spot of damage on the upper left corner being the only major flaw. The photo comes accompanied by a full letter from PSA identifying this as a Type 1 also.
