Jake Levy is sort of an odd figure in baseball history, but one whose items are extremely desirable. He won over 200 games as a minor leaguer and was promoted to the New York Giants by John McGraw in 1928. He sat on the bench and waited for an appearance which never came, but his presence on the roster and Jewish heritage have made him a desirable figure of which almost no memorabilia or images have survived. The offered photograph is an exceptional piece of baseball history as it pictures Levy (flipping the bird against his bat handle) along with two other members of the team in uniform. A rare image in great shape and one that is a curious piece of history as Levy (A Jew who was discriminated against) flipping the "F-You" sign to the photographer!
