1946 Large double weight batting photograph of a teenager names Alfonso Carrasquel playing for the Cerveceria Caracas team of the Venezuelan professional league. He would soon be snatched up by the major leagues and go by "Chico" becoming one of the first Latin American stars in the big leagues (1949). A four time all-star, this is his greatest image ever taken and an important image of a true Latin American pioneer!
