Original Photograph from December 7, 1941 showing a still smoldering Pearl Harbor after the surprise attack by the Japanese from earlier in the morning which left the United States stunned and the sleepy Hawaiian town devastated. Issued by the International News and file marked on the back from when the event actually happened. Condition is pretty nice with some very light crazing and a bit of wear on the upper right corner. Original images of Pearl Harbor are very rare (due to the nature of the surprise attack) and this is a wonderful example, one of the most famous ever taken.
