1934 Photograph of fraudster and famous criminal Robert Ponzi as he was released from prison in Boston after serving his sentence for the great financial scheme which now bears his name (Ponzi Scheme). He was immediately deported and essentially disappeared from he spotlight making images of him difficult to find. This one is a fine piece of work showing him glowing from ear to ear despite ripping off people for millions of dollars! Issued by the International News and with a full paper caption on the back.
