Incredible 1927 silver gelatin photograph of the Spirit of St. Louis as it heads for London on its attempt to cross the Atlantic for the first time. Piloted by Charles Lindbergh, few thought he would be the guy to get the job done, but this plane was destined for history a couple days later. An incredible piece of photography in great shape and stamped on the back with the date and a large paper caption.
