Large c. 1910 action photograph of racing legend Barney Oldfield as he crosses the finish line in first place in his famous number 8 racer. Taken by the Hughes Studio of Los Angeles, this is from the estate of Oldfield and is being offered here publicly for the first time ever. Photo has a spot of paper loss on the white background but would otherwise be nice and the clarity is exceptional considering the car was moving at a great rate of speed when the shutter was snapped!
