1919 Gene Tunney studio photograph by Halls Studio of New York and showing the Champion of the Military on his way to the top in a terrific fight pose. The quality of the photograph is great with there being some paper loss down by the embossed photographers dry stamp and pinholes at the corners. One of the earliest images of Tunney we have ever seen and the 1922 file stamp on the back is from later when it was added to a newspaper morgue, but it still only two years from when it was taken!
