Lot Description  

One of the most famous images ever taken is that of Don Larsen as he holds up catcher Yogi Berra who has leapt into the arms of the pitcher in celebration after Larsen threw a World Series perfect game on October 8, 1956 against the Dodgers. One of the most important moments in baseball history, this is a large original photo issued in the late 1960's and stamped on the back by the United Press.
