Rare 1951 photograph of 19th century star Dummy Hoy as he appears in Cincinnati to throw out the first pitch of the game along with the starter that day Ewell Blackwell. Hoy was deaf and along with being a star, he was also one of the first disabled major leaguers in history. Images of Hoy are rare and this is a nice example stamped on the back by photographer Allan Kain of the Cincinnati Enquirer!
