Lot Description  

large 1937 photograph from Spring Training showing the hottest young star in baseball Joe DiMaggio as he is reunited with his brother on the field. One of the happier images of a young Joe DiMaggio, this was taken by the famous Thorne Studios and stamped on the back. An exceptional piece of photography with a small paper strip glued to the front for publication and some pinholes and handling wear. Thorne images of DiMaggio are TOUGH to find!
