For whatever reason some baseball players (even Hall of Famers with long careers) are just tough to find quality images of. Among all the stars of the 1920's and 1930's one of the players that you just never find photographs of is Hall of Famer Sam Rice from the Washington Senators. With that said, this is one of the best quality images we have seen of Rice in uniform showing his batting form as he entered the World Series in 1933. Crystal clear and bold, this was issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well.
