1933 Photograph of a bench clearing brawl between the New York Yankees and the Washington Senators in D.C. showing both teams and several men in suits (executives and fans) storming the field to get involved. It all started when Ben Chapman the fiery outfielder of the Yankees slid into second and spiked Buddy Myer. This was taken at the height of a pennant race and although the Yankees won big on this day, it would actually be the Senators that would take the pennant! Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a nice detailed caption as well.
