Large 1929 photograph of the six men vying for the starting shortstop job on the Boston Red Sox during Spring Training. Included are future stars Walter Gerber and Hal Rhyne along with some that never really panned out making this a rare look into the history of the game. Stamped on the back by the Central Press Association and with the date as well, the image is clear and bold with a few light corner creases and a couple pinholes from publication being the only flaws.
