1927 Statuesque batting photograph of Hall of Famer Paul Waner in full uniform from early in his career. A fantastic pose, this is one of the best ever taken and presents with exceptional clarity and quality. Taken by photographer Charles Conlon and mounted to thick board by artists at Baseball Magazine, this was part of the 1996 sale of artifacts from the defunct periodical and bears the sticker on the back. It is certain this was used for numerous publications and this is one of the most famous images of Lloyd Waner ever taken and was the image used to make his Uncle Jacks baseball card! Condition is nice with a small corner chip being the only flaw.
