Lot Description  

Rare 1927 large action photograph from Opening Day between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field and showing Hall of Famer Grover Cleveland Alexander serving up a hit to Riggs Stephenson. One of only a handful of action photographs showing Grover Cleveland Alexander pitching, this is an oversized piece of photography with all sorts of special things going for it!
