1924 Action photo of diminutive star Heinie Groh from the New York Giants. Known for his unusual shaped bat that looked like a Coke bottle, Groh is seen here at the plate during the last of the New York Giants four-straight trips to the World Series. A career .292 hitter who also drew plenty of walks, he was a true star of the deadball era! Taken by photographer Charles Conlon, this is a rare action photo which carries his handwriting and signature on the back as well. A crease on the right side is the only real flaw.
