Vintage c. 1920 (early in his career) action photograph of young Philadelphia Phillies pitching prospect Huck Betts in uniform. Taken by photographer Paul Thompson and stamped on the back, this is his earliest and best image we have seen. Betts would go onto a long and prosperous career in the big leagues, lasting until 1935! Photo is nice with a corner chip and a few spots where the emulsion pooled a bit at the studio nearly 100 years ago. Photo comes pre certified with a Type 1 letter from PSA as well.
