Lot Description  

Large c. 1918 batting photograph of Pittsburgh Pirates star hitter Carson Bigbee in uniform. Taken about the time that he was one of the top up and coming sluggers in the National League, this is a large and exceptional piece of photography from Charles Conlon and with his handwriting and stamp on the back. Photo is beautiful with note to a crease on the upper right and a touch of wear at the upper left.
