Frank Bowerman was one of the top catchers in baseball, and this photograph is his greatest image ever taken! From photographer Carl Horner and looking like the day it was snapped 115 years ago, this is an incredible specimen that was used to make his famous T206 baseball card as well as others. Removed from its original mount and trimmed by the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper for publication, it is absolutely original to 1903 and is one of only two examples we know of in the hobby! The number '13' on the front was added by a newspaper artist for publication and can be removed if desired.
