Lot Description  

Large 1948 photograph of former Negro Leaguers in the big leagues as they pose with former mentor and now manager of the Jacksonville Red Caps Jim Williams. He is joined by Roy Campanella and Don Newcombe in their rookie years along with Larry Doby as well. An absolutely KILLER image of some former Negro League legends during the greatest transformation period in baseball history!
