1923 Photograph of the exterior of the newest shrine to baseball, Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. This is by far the most famous image from opening day and while this photo is a c. 1945 re-strike, it is still one of the only examples of this image we have handled taken anywhere near the date it was taken. Despite some pinholes at the corners, the image displays well with pretty nice clarity as well.
