Important 1920 photograph of the Cleveland Indians scoring the first run of the World Series (second inning of first game) and also the first post-season run in their franchise history as George Burns crosses the plate on an error. A silver gelatin photograph from Brown Brothers and stamped on the back, this is a much more significant moment in baseball history than anyone realized when the photographer snapped the shutter! The image is crystal clear with note to there being some corner wear and edge chipping from repeated news-room use over the last 98 years.
