Large 1946 photograph of the Boston Red Sox team as they headed into the World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals. Led by superstar slugger Ted Williams (upper left corner), this seemed to be the team that would break the curse, but ultimately it would be another go-around of unfortunate events that would lead to the demise of the Sox until 2004. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a detailed paper caption as well.
