Large 1940 photograph of the Cleveland Indians as they posed in uniform at the ballpark on September 20. At the time the image was taken, they were described on the back as "pennant-bound" but this was premature as the team would finish 4-4 down the stretch and the Detroit Tigers would go 7-3 to take the pennant by a single game! A touching piece of Indians history that was issued by the Associated Press and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well.
