Large 1929 silver gelatin photograph (double weight) of the members of the Chicago Cubs pitching staff in full uniform. This was a team on the rise as they had hired Joe McCarthy and had some stars in the wings, leading to several World Series appearances in a period of a decade! Included in the photo among others are Charlie Root, Pat Malone, Guy Bush, Art Nehf and others. An exceptionally clean and clear photograph, this is a high quality piece of imagery that would be perfect but for a small crease on the upper right corner. This is as good as pre-war photography gets!
