Incredible 1895 photograph of the Warren, Pennsylvania baseball team in uniform and posing at a formal studio. A low level professional team, there are no less than three different uniforms present here but the presence of one youngster makes this a special piece of baseball history. The lone ranger at the top wearing his uniform with an "S" over the pocket is a 21 year old Honus Wagner on his way to the top of the baseball world! While this is a 1924 re-strike of this famous image, it is still one of only a handful known examples of Wagner with Warren that was issued in his lifetime, making it a special piece of baseball history. Photo has some edge chipping but otherwise it presents well and all damage could be matted out.
