Lot Description  

Large 1968 photograph of Roger Maris as he takes batting practice as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals. It had to be weird watching the home run king from New York in a new uniform, but it worked out well for Roger as he would win the World Series in this season. Stamped on the back by photographer George Trasant, this is a high grade example that almost hits the perfect 10!
