Lot Description  

Artistic 1954 photograph of young Hall of Famer Willie Mays as he takes a curtain call at the empty Polo Grounds following his incredible showing at the World Series. A few days earlier he had dominated the headlines with the most amazing catch anyone had ever seen and now he was a World Series Champion! Taken by photographer Tony Bernato and issued through the International News, this is a perfect 10/10!
