Large statuesque batting photograph of one of the best hitters in baseball history, Babe Herman. He was such a good hitter in fact, that teams were willing to overlook the fact that he was one of the worst fielders in history as well! Taken as he arrived in the big leagues after a few years of decimating the PCL, this is one of his earliest photographs and it presents beautifully here with some pinholes being the only flaws.
