The 1948 Mayaguez baseball team was stacked with talent. Led by three of the biggest stars in black baseball at the time (Wilmer Fields, Alonzo Perry and Artie Wilson) the team also featured prodigious power hitter Lucius Easter as well. The offered panoramic style image features the entire lineup including Wilson standing at center. An impressive piece of photography and in great shape overall.
