Lot Description  

1940 Large team photograph of the American League champion Detroit Tigers in uniform. They would take the Cincinnati Reds to seven games in the World Series but would ultimately fall. Led by Hank Greenberg in his final season before service in WWII, this is an original from the International News with a long paper caption on the back and it appears in perfect shape but has a small staple hole on the far left side.
