Lot Description  

1919 White Sox photograph of Infielder Charles "Swede" Risberg who was one of the eight players banned for throwing the World Series. Photographed here in White Sox uniform and dated during May of 1918. Rare player to find images of and condition is quite nice with some light corner creases and some show through of a back inscription being the only issues. Reverse has a stamp and date from NEA. Beautiful example.
