1938 Detailed close up photograph of Yankees Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig from his last full season in the big leagues. One of the better images of the "Iron Horse" that we have offered and condition is pretty nice with note to a chip off the top border. While this example is not dated, we sold this same portrait for $1175 in our July 2015 and that one was dated September 7, 1938. Photo also comes with a full LO from PSA as a Type 1.
