1934 Photograph from Opening Day in Philadelphia where the Yankees and Athletics were set to get things going. The best players on each team met at home plate to shake hands and pose for some photographs and they just happened to be the two most feared sluggers in the game, Jimmie Foxx and Babe Ruth. What nobody knew is that this would be the last Opening Day in pinstripes for the Yankees making it a special piece of history. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this is a high grade example.
