1902 Carl Horner cabinet photograph of the greatest slugger of the era, Harry Davis from the Philadelphia Athletics. He was a monster of the true deadball era, leading the league in home runs four times as well as rbi, doubles, triples and runs at various times. This is a sepia (extremely early) image of Davis that is absolutely a vintage example, taken even before Horner switched to silver gelatin paper and white mounts which is clean and high grade. The photo is not trimmed, but the cardboard backing was trimmed away and this could be restored easily if you desire. This is by far his most famous image and it was used to make numerous baseball cards like his T204 Ramly, Colgans Chip, Williams Caramel and others. This is the only vintage example we know of.
