Lot Description  

1902 Portrait photograph of young Cleveland Bronchos (Indians) ace pitcher Bill Bernhard in full uniform. Taken by photographer Carl Horner, this is his most famous image that was used for his 1903 E 107 Breisch Williams baseball card as well as his Fan Craze issue. An essentially perfect silver gelatin original, this is his a perfect 10/10 and the only original we have ever seen!
