1925 Portrait photo of John F. "Sheriff" Blake from the Chicago Cubs. A quality pitcher, he played on some pretty bad teams and suffered as a result. Taken by famous baseball photographer Charles Conlon and the reverse carries his handwritten notes and also his stamp as well. A quality example that looks good with note to a crease on the far right and a piece of tape from editorial use at the top.
