Before Lou Gehrig became baseball's great "Iron Man" there was another Yankee who became famous for the same traits of longevity and durability, Everett Scott. The offered image from 1922 (the year before Gehrig made his debut) comes from noted photographer George Grantham Bain and bears his stamp on the back.
